By placing an order, submitting a quote request, or otherwise using teda-translation.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.
teda-translation is a translation and language-services business located at 27413 Westown Blvd, Westlake, OH 44145, operating this website and selling the services listed on it.
Orders are placed by adding a service to your cart and completing checkout, or by submitting a quote request for bespoke work. An order is confirmed once you receive an order reference and confirmation page at the end of checkout. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, if we can't staff your language pair or subject matter, or if a submitted document turns out to be outside what we can translate — in which case we'll tell you promptly and issue a full refund for that order.
Prices are listed in US dollars, by the unit stated for each service (page, word, hour, minute, audio minute, video minute, or document), on Pricing and each service page. Standard orders are priced at checkout based on the quantity and tier you select. For documents with unusual length, formatting, or scope, we confirm final pricing after a quick review of your file and will tell you before proceeding if it differs from your cart total. A $45 minimum order applies site-wide, except Website & Software Localization, which carries a $500 project minimum.
Digital delivery (PDF and an editable file) is our default method, sent by email. Certified hard copies by mail are available for a flat fee, selected at checkout. Because our checkout does not currently accept file uploads, you must send us your source document after ordering — either by sending the pre-filled email that opens in your mail app when you place the order, or by emailing support@teda-translation.com yourself, quoting your order reference (no automated confirmation email is sent; your reference is shown on the confirmation page). Turnaround times stated on each service page and on How It Works begin once we have received your document, not at the time of order.
If you believe your translation contains an inaccuracy, tell us within 7 business days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. This guarantee covers correcting inaccuracies in the delivered translation; it does not cover new content, added scope, or changes to your source document after delivery — those are quoted as a new or additional order.
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full detail. In summary: a full refund applies if you cancel before a linguist has been assigned and started; a pro-rated refund applies to the portion of work not yet completed once work is underway; no refund applies after delivery (the accuracy guarantee above applies instead); and third-party disbursements already incurred (notary fees, state apostille fees, postage) and committed rush surcharges are non-refundable.
You retain ownership of your source documents and the translations we deliver to you. We may use anonymized, non-identifying information about the nature of a project (e.g., "a certified birth certificate translation") for internal business purposes, but we do not use your document contents, your name, or your business's identity in any public-facing material without your written permission.
The payment step at checkout currently runs in demonstration mode: no real payment is processed, and no card information is transmitted, stored, or retained by us or any third party. If you need to place and pay for an order today, contact us directly at support@teda-translation.com or (305) 204-6582 and we'll arrange it.
To the extent permitted by Ohio and applicable federal law, teda-translation's liability for any claim arising from these terms or your order is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including a receiving institution's rejection of a document for reasons outside our formatting or certification process (for example, an incomplete application or a missed filing deadline unrelated to translation accuracy).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or an order will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
