HOW IT WORKS

From document to delivery — the whole process.

What actually happens after you order, step by step, including how we check accuracy and handle your file.

A translation being reviewed and checked against its source document

The process, step by step

01

Order or request a quote.

Choose a service, add it to cart with your language pair, deadline, and any add-ons — or use the quote form on Contact for bespoke work outside the standard rate card. You’ll see the price before you commit.

02

A linguist is assigned.

Matched to your subject matter — a birth certificate, a contract, and a clinical trial consent form go to different linguists, because the risk if something’s wrong is different for each.

03

Translation and a second-linguist check.

Every order — not just certified ones — is reviewed by a second linguist before it ships. Certified orders additionally get a signed certificate of accuracy attached.

04

Delivery, with a 7-day correction window.

Digital delivery (PDF + editable file) by default; certified hard copies by mail on request. If something’s inaccurate, tell us within 7 business days of delivery and we’ll correct it at no charge.

What "reviewed" actually means

  • Every translation — regardless of service — is checked by a second linguist before delivery, not just proofread by the original translator.
  • The 7-business-day accuracy-correction window starts at delivery. If the translation contains an inaccuracy, tell us and we'll correct it at no charge — this doesn't cover new content or scope changes, which are quoted as a new or additional order.
  • Bilingual proofreading is available as a paid add-on for clients who want an additional review pass beyond the standard second-linguist check — useful for high-stakes or publication-bound content.

What happens to your file

Your document is accessible only to the assigned linguist and the second reviewer — not routed through an open pool of vendors. Files are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. We delete project files 90 days after your project is complete, unless you ask us to keep the file on hand for a future revision. For legal clients, we'll sign your firm's NDA before work begins. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling detail.
